Serving Seniors in Calhoun and Barry Counties
Burnham Brook is one of 16 Area Agencies on Aging in the state of Michigan. Region IIIB Area Agency on Aging serves older adults in Calhoun and Barry counties. It provides a variety of in-home and community services that enable older adults to continue living independently at home or a chosen residence for as long as possible. These services include: Care management, Information and Assistance, Meals, In-home services, Legal assistance, Guardianship, Transportation, Health Promotion, and Caregiver Support
Persons age 60 and over are eligible for services. There is no income requirement. However, priority will be given to older adults who appear to be in greatest social or economic need. Funds are provided by the Older Americans Act and the Older Michiganians Act.

Burnham Brook is now offering a new meal program for seniors. The program, called Senior Meal Choice, is available to residents of Barry and Calhoun counties age 60 and over. For more information, click here.
