Wildlife Photos
We encourage you to share your Nevada wildlife, habitat, fishing, and hunting photos!
Please follow these guidelines when submitting photos:
- All photos must be taken in Nevada.
- Only submit original, high-resolution images (300 dpi), not pixilated or blurry.
- Photos must be free of watermarks, borders, or heavy filters.
- Accepted file types: .jpg, .jpeg, .png, .webp, .heic.
- Photos may be used by NDOW in digital or print formats.
- Photos adhere to the NDOW Photo Terms and Conditions below
NDOW Photo Terms and Conditions
You certify that any photo(s) that you upload to the Nevada Department of Wildlife (NDOW) website can be used by NDOW in any and all media at all times in perpetuity. This material includes but is not limited to the NDOW website, marketing materials, social media sites, videos, emails, press releases, etc. The photos you submit can be used in any NDOW’s program/publication and are not limited to a single program/publication. You certify that you are the copyright holder or owner of the photos(s), or have explicit authority from the owner of the photo(s) to distribute the content of the photo(s), and you are 18 years or older. You have also acquired the necessary permissions from all person(s) depicted in the image(s). NDOW will not sell the photo for use by any third party.
You certify that you are the parent and/or legal guardian of anyone under the age of 18 years that are depicted in the photo(s) and you grant permission for NDOW to use the photos in any and all media in perpetuity. This material includes but is not limited to the NDOW website, marketing materials, social media sites, videos, emails, press releases, etc. The photos you submit can be used in any NDOW program/publication and are not limited to a single program/publication.
You further understand that the Department retains the right to remove from its website, or any other media, content that does not comply with State of Nevada and/or NDOW standards.
